The Caribbean Diaspora can fund affordable housing back home. They
just need access.

Blue Mahoe Capital is investing the Caribbean, starting with building affordable houses in Jamaica. You can be part of the solution to the housing problem.

As seen in

The Caribbean diaspora has sent capital back home for fifty years and now we can do more.

Remittances pay school fees. They cover mortgages. They keep businesses open. They are an act of love and they work exactly once — the money lands, it gets spent.

That's not a criticism. It's a description of the instrument.

Equity is a different instrument. Your capital partners with developers, builds houses and sells them to locals. You hold an ownership stake in the company that provides solutions for locals.

You share in the profit while doing good.

Same money. Same intention. Different structure.

Support and ownership have never been the same transaction.

Jamaica isn't short on buyers. It's short on affordable houses.

Over 70,000 Jamaicans are qualified for National Housing Trust (N.H.T.) support but Jamaica is not building enough houses per year.

You can be part of the solution.

Phase 1: Jamaica

25 Acres, partnered with East Rock Construction, the site is within commuting distance of Kingston, road improvements through St. Thomas are underway, and there's an existing NHT development directly across from the property.

Built for Local Jamaicans, funded by the Caribbean Diaspora. A housing shortage doesn't get solved without increasing the supply.

How It Works

01

We partner with landowners, parcels secured first.

We select the developer, completed Jamaican projects, not renderings

03

You invest, from $100, through our SEC-regulated portal

04

We build — Phase 1: 100 two-bedroom homes with East Rock Construction

05

You hold equity — an ownership stake in the company doing the building

Why This Founder

"The Caribbean Diaspora deserves a simple, regulated way to invest back home and contribute to economic growth. The desire is there but the access is not. We are building the bridge to make investing in the Caribbean easier and more accessible."

David P. A. Mullings has spent two decades engaging with the Caribbean diaspora and working in financial services. He served as the first Future Leaders Representative for the USA on Jamaica's Diaspora Advisory Board, worked on the product development and marketing team for a large Jamaican building society, worked in private equity and at a hedge fund and did marketing for a mutual fund company.

He started Blue Mahoe Capital because he did not have an easy way for his friends and family to pool their money and invest back home. There is still no ETF or mutual fund listed on a major stock exchange to give investors exposure to the Caribbean — not for lack of demand.

The solutions is finally here. We make it easy for people to invest in the growth of their Caribbean countries.
